This is me! Yah Im a little crazy. Im a hard pill to swallow. OK not really, I like to think I am tho lol. I laugh way too loud to the point my voice carries too far. I'm a hopeless romantic. And I woudn't change it whatsoever! Most of the jokes I laugh at are inside jokes. So if you know why I'm laughing so damn loud ....u must be my friend. I give "courtesy laughs" to jokers who should learn better jokes. I flip through magazines from back to front. I'm superstitious, to a certain degree. I'm both outgoing and reserved but dont mistake "reserved" for arrogance and being stuck up. I'm respected for my kindness and loyalty. I show it to some more than others. I'm easy to spot in a room (Ok Not Really). My traits are not mutable. No matter where I move to. No matter what "group" I'm with at that moment. No matter what phase I'm in, I'm always me. We have all seen these photos. The NOH8 Campaign is a photographic silent protest created by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska and partner Jeff Parshley in direct response to the passage of Proposition 8. Photos feature subjects with duct tape over their mouths, symbolizing their voices being silenced by Prop 8 and similar legislation around the world, with “NOH8” painted on one cheek in protest. The NOH8 Campaign has received overwhelming support from around the world, appearing on various local and national news programs and publications. The images are currently being used on various social networking sites to spread the message of equality, predominantly Facebook and Twitter. Eventually the images are expected to be compiled for a large-scale media campaign.
The NOH8 Campaign have hosted Photo shoots in Las Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Dallas, and a few other cities nation wide. I personally believe Arizona needs, and deserves one of these photo shoots hosted in our very own Grand Canyon state.The NOH8 Campaign have hosted Photo shoots in Las Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Dallas, and a few other cities nation wide. I am very interested in making a proposal to the NOH8 Campaign to come to either Phoenix, or Tucson for a NOH8 Photo shoot. If a proposal is made, and introduced to the NOH8 Campaign, they WILL consider making a stop to the great state of AZ. This proposal does work. Dallas is a prime example of that. Orgs banned together and a photo shoot was hosted there.
I believe if many LGBTQ groups/orgs in Arizona all pull together, we could easily convince the board. I am willing to lead and fight for this to happen. We have also suffered a similar defeat to LGBTQ rights with the passing of Prop 102 (Marriage Protection Amendment). And this would be a perfect way for all of us to come together, and fight for equality.
